30 minThese aren’t your average turkey burgers. They’ve gone full Asian-fusion and they’re not looking back.
Seasoned ground turkey patties get a quick sear, then simmer in a glossy sauce built from chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, and a touch of sugar. Diagonal-cut celery, onion rings, green bell pepper, and wedges of fresh tomato cook right in the sauce, keeping their snap and color.
Everything comes together in one skillet in about 30 minutes. Serve over steamed rice and you’ve got a complete meal.
Kitchen Tips
- Cut the vegetables into similar-sized pieces so they cook evenly in the sauce
- Don’t overcook the tomato; add it last so it stays firm and juicy
- A dash of sesame oil stirred in at the end adds authentic nutty aroma
- Serve over jasmine rice or alongside lo mein noodles
