Strawberry Lemonade Ala Scott
Submitted by Eightball_chica
Homemade strawberry lemonade with pureed fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and a splash of club soda for fizz. Bright pink, naturally fruity, and refreshing over ice.

15 minFresh strawberries get blended into a smooth puree and stirred straight into a pitcher of lemonade. No artificial flavoring, no powdered mix. Just real fruit, real lemon juice, sugar, and a hit of club soda that gives the whole thing a light sparkle.
The club soda goes in last, right before serving, so it keeps its fizz. Stir the sugar into the water and lemon juice first until it fully dissolves. If you add the soda too early or stir too vigorously after, you’ll lose that effervescence.
Serve it over plenty of ice with a fresh strawberry on the rim or a sprig of mint. It turns a gorgeous shade of pink that looks as good as it tastes.
Pro Tips
- Strain for smooth: If you prefer a cleaner drink without seeds, push the strawberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve before adding it to the pitcher.
- Make it ahead (mostly): Mix everything except the club soda up to a day ahead. Add the soda just before serving to keep the bubbles.
- Adjust sweetness: Taste the base before adding soda. Depending on how sweet your berries are, you may want a little more or less sugar.
Variations
- Boozy version: Add a generous pour of vodka or white rum per glass for a strawberry lemonade cocktail.
- Frozen slush: Blend the finished lemonade (minus the club soda) with ice for a frozen strawberry lemonade that’s ideal on a scorching afternoon.
