Chicken a la Roma

Ingredients

4 each chicken breasts boneless, cooked
27 ounce tomatoes chopped
1 pound mushrooms sliced
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
1 cup onions diced
1 x tomato sauce to thicken
1 cup swiss cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
--- Bechamel Sauce
1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup milk skim
1 x white wine to taste

Directions

Cook onions and minced garlic in margarine.

Add tomatoes, chicken, mushrooms, and seasonings.

Add tomato sauce to thicken.

Lightly spread tomato sauce on bottom of a "pammed"; 9x13 pan.

Aayer ingredients in following manner: noodles tomato-chicken mixture 1/2 of the cheese BECHAMEL SAUCE noodles, tomato-chicken mixture bechmel sauce cheeses, ending with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 35-45 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
