A frosty peach daiquiri without the rum. Canned peaches and their reserved juice get blended with milk, lemon juice, ice cubes, and rum flavoring until the ice disappears and you’re left with a thick, slushy mocktail that tastes surprisingly close to the real thing.

Rum flavoring (rum extract) gives this the warm, boozy aroma of a daiquiri without any alcohol, making it perfect for parties where kids are drinking alongside adults. The milk adds a creamy body that straight juice can’t match, and the lemon juice provides the tart backbone every good daiquiri needs.

Blend until the ice is completely gone. Chunks of ice make this watery and uneven. You want a uniform, smooth slush that holds its thickness in the glass.

Kitchen Tips

  • Use well-chilled canned peaches and juice for the thickest, coldest result. Room-temperature fruit melts the ice too fast.
  • Blend on high until you can’t hear any more ice crunching. That’s how you know it’s fully smooth.
  • Serve immediately. This starts separating and melting fast once the blender stops.

Variations

  • Use frozen peach slices instead of canned for a thicker, icier texture without needing as much ice.
