Doggie Liver Treats
Submitted by piclou
Three-ingredient homemade dog treats made with pureed beef liver, garlic, and corn muffin mix baked into firm, crunchy squares. Easy to make, easy to freeze, and dogs go absolutely crazy for them.

Raw beef liver and garlic get blitzed in a blender until smooth, mixed with a box of corn muffin mix, then spread onto a cookie sheet and baked until firm.
Cut into squares and you’ve got a batch of crunchy, liver-packed training treats that smell pretty intense to you but smell like heaven to your pup.
They freeze well too, so make a big batch and stash them.
Pro Tips
- Blend the liver until completely liquid for even distribution in the muffin mix; chunks won’t bake evenly
- Bake until very firm but not burnt; you want a dry, crunchy texture that holds up as a dog treat
- Cut into small squares for training-sized treats or larger pieces for bigger dogs
- Freeze in portions in zip-lock bags and thaw as needed so they stay fresh
