2 hrsThese three-layer no-bake bars are the ones that show up at every church potluck and holiday cookie exchange, and for good reason.
The bottom layer is a rich chocolate-graham cracker mixture that firms up in the pan.
The middle is a smooth, bright green creme de menthe buttercream.
And the top is a thin, snappy layer of melted chocolate that cracks just right when you bite through.
No oven required. Just patience while they chill.
Chef Tips
- Press the base layer firmly and evenly; any gaps will make the bars crumble when you cut them
- Chill each layer before adding the next for clean, distinct stripes
- Cut with a sharp knife dipped in hot water for the neatest squares
- Store in the fridge and pull them out 5 minutes before serving so the chocolate layer isn’t too brittle
