When you need a cold caffeine hit with serious chocolate muscle, this cocoa espresso cooler delivers. Three ingredients, no blender, no barista skills required.

Cold brewed espresso gets stirred with cocoa and a splash of vanilla, then poured over ice. A generous crown of sweetened whipped cream on top makes it feel indulgent without any real effort.

It’s the kind of drink you can whip up for a crowd on a hot afternoon or keep all to yourself on a slow morning.

Variations

  • Swap the whipped cream for coconut whipped cream to keep it dairy-free
  • Add a tablespoon of chocolate syrup for an extra-rich mocha kick
  • Stir in a splash of cold milk or oat milk if you prefer it creamier
