Three fresh berries, five minutes, zero cooking. Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries are partially blended into a chunky sauce bursting with natural sweetness. A no-sugar-added fruit dessert that’s as easy as it gets.

No sugar. No cream. No cooking. Just three kinds of fresh berries and a blender doing the bare minimum.

Berries Cicero is one of those recipes that barely qualifies as a recipe, and that’s exactly why it works.

A portion of the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries gets pulsed into a loose, vibrant sauce, then the remaining whole berries are folded in for texture.

Sliced strawberries on top make it look like you tried way harder than you did.

Serve it immediately for the brightest flavor, or stash it in the fridge for a few days when you need a healthy grab-and-go snack.

Kitchen Tips

  • This lives or dies on the quality of your berries. Farmers market fruit in peak season is the move.
  • Blend on low and keep it chunky. You want a sauce with body, not a smoothie.
  • Spoon it over vanilla ice cream, pound cake, or yogurt for an easy upgrade.

Directions

Place ¾ cup of strawberries and ¾ cup of blueberries with ½ cup of raspberries in a blender.

Blend at low speed for 30 seconds.

Pour into a bowl and stir in the remaining blueberries and raspberries.

Slice the remaining strawberries and use as a garnish.

Serve immediately.

If keeping, cover and keep for 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator, but it will not be as fresh tasting.
