Easy Seafood Stew

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil, extra-virgin
1 medium onion chopped
2 each garlic cloves minced
13 ounces clams undrained, chopped
6 ounces crab meat white, canned, drained, rinsed
6 ounces shrimp, canned drained, rinsed
10 3/4 ounces soup, tomato sodium reduced
2 ounces pimentos undrained
1 1/3 cups water hot
1/4 cup parsley leaves fresh, optional
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
1/4 teaspoon basil crushed, dried
1/4 teaspoon oregano crushed, dried
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

Heat the oil in a large, heavy saucepan.

Add the onion and garlic and cook, covered, over low heat for about 15 minutes, or until the onion is soft and translucent.

Stir in all remaining ingredients and continue to cook, covered, over low heat for about 10 minutes or until hot.
