Double Fudge Kahlua Brownies

Ingredients

4 ounces chocolate unsweetened
1 cup butter
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/3 cup liqueur coffee flavor, such as kahlua
1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup walnuts toasted, chopped

Directions

Line bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking parchment.

Melt chocolate and butter with pepper over low heat.

Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until blended.

Stir in cooled chocolate mixture, then kahlua.

Resift flour, salt and baking powder into mixture and stir until blended.

Add nuts.

Turn into pan. Bake in 350 degrees F. oven just until pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes (be careful not to overbake).

Cook, then spread top with frosting.

Sprinke with additional nuts, if desired.

Cut into squares or bars.

Almond Biscotti

There is an error in this recipe. I'm sure t calls for more than 1 whole unblanched almond. Probably 1 cup or as it says 12 oz
