30 minCookie pizza takes the novelty factor and actually makes it taste good.
Orange juice and zest brighten up a brown sugar butter dough, while chopped dates and toasted almonds add chewy-crunchy texture throughout.
Patting it out on a pizza pan creates one massive cookie that bakes evenly and slices into perfect wedges, making it way more fun than regular drop cookies at parties or potlucks.
Pro Tips
- Pat evenly: Get the dough to uniform thickness across the pan so edges don’t burn while the center stays raw.
- Toast almonds first: Toasting brings out nutty flavor and adds crunch. Do this before chopping and mixing them in.
- Cool completely: Let it cool on the pan before cutting or the cookie will crumble. Patience pays off with clean wedges.
