| 2 | each | onions | quartered |
| 1 | each | cabbage | head, cut in small wedges |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 3 | tablespoons | vinegar | |
| 3 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 2 | cups | water | |
Directions
