2 hrsIf you’ve ever had a Reese’s peanut butter cup and thought “I wish this were bigger," here’s your answer. A thick, crumbly layer of peanut butter mixed with graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar, topped with a solid sheet of melted chocolate.
No oven required. Press the peanut butter mixture into the pan, spread melted chocolate on top, chill, and slice. That’s the whole process.
Makes 36 bars from a 13×9 pan, and they disappear faster than anything else on a holiday cookie tray. Let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cutting or the chocolate layer will crack.
Kitchen Tips
- Press the peanut butter layer firmly and evenly into the pan; loose spots will crumble when you cut them
- Spread the melted chocolate while it’s still warm and fluid for an even, smooth top layer
- Let the bars stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before cutting; cold chocolate will shatter instead of slicing cleanly
- Store in the fridge but serve at room temperature for the best texture
