Fondue nights just got a whole lot easier. Toss almond chocolate bars, mini marshmallows, and a splash of milk into your slow cooker, and let everything melt into a velvety, nutty chocolate dip.
A pour of heavy whipping cream loosens it up to the right consistency for dunking. The best part? It stays warm and ready for hours, making it ideal for parties or a lazy weekend dessert spread.
Set out a platter of strawberries, banana slices, grapes, mandarin oranges, and cubes of angel food or yellow cake. Let everyone grab a skewer and go to town.
Chef Tips
- Rub the inside of the crock with butter before adding ingredients to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier
- Stir every 30 minutes while melting for an even, lump-free texture
- If the fondue gets too thick after sitting, stir in a tablespoon of warm cream to bring it back
