Chicken Livers

This succulent dish is easy to make and tastes wonderful with rice, toast or buttered noodles.

Ingredients

1 pound chicken livers
1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 each bacon slices, diced
3 each onions green, with tops, chopped
1 cup chicken bouillon
1 each soup, cream of mushroom golden, 10 oz can
1 each mushrooms, canned 4 oz can, sliced, drained
1/4 cup wine white, dry or sauterne

Directions

Cut chicken livers into bite-size pieces; toss in flour, salt and pepper. Fry bacon pieces in large skillet; remove when brown. Add flour-coated chicken livers and green onions to bacon grease in skillet; sauté until lightly browned. Pour chicken bouillon into skillet and stir into drippings. Pour all into crockpot. Add browned bacon bits and all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on Low 4 to 6 hours.

Serve over rice, toast or buttered noodles.

Aunt Bee's Lentil Soup

I've made this soup several times, and each time I'm amazed at how good and easy it is to make. Everyone should give this one a try. I just wanted to thank the poster for submitting the recipe.
