Ingredients

1 1/2 cups granola
1/4 pound butter melted
1 tablespoon gelatin unflavored
1/2 cup water warm
2 each egg yolks
1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
1 tablespoon lemon zest fresh
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 pound cream cheese
1 cup yogurt, plain
4 each ice cubes
1 pint strawberries hulled

Directions

Crunch granola with rolling pin and mix with melted butter.

Press into 9 inch pan and set aside.

In a blender combine egg yolks, lemon juice, lemon rind, sugar, cream cheese and yogurt.

Add ice cubes until mixture is smooth; then add half of the strawberries, sliced.

Pour over crust and top with remainder of whole berries.

Chill.

The fresh strawberries of summer are one ideal to use in this pie; but any seasonal berry can be substituted to make graduation a grand celebration.

Herbed Turkey And Dressing

I have actually used this recipe two Thanksgivings in a row. I added about half the basting sauce to cover my 17 pound bird and then put in in a bag. Make sure the bag doesn't touch the skin or it will stick, basting sauce or not! About a half hour before it is done, I remove the bag, use the rest of the basting sauce, or most of it, and raise the temperature to 375 degrees. My turkey browns beautifully. And the dressing is moist and delicious. Another suggestion: add a bag of cranberries, make a large amount, and bake the rest of the dressing in a casserole dish on the side. It's like having two different kinds of dressing.
