Chocolate-Chip Walnut Pie

Ingredients

1 each pie shell (9 inch) unbaked
3 large eggs slightly beaten
2 dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups corn syrup white
1 cup chocolate (semi-sweet) pieces
2/3 cup walnut halves

Directions

Use your favorite recipe or pie crust mix.

Beat until well blended: eggs, salt, vanilla, sugar, and corn syrup.

Stir in chocolate pieces.

Pour mixture into pie crust.

Bake 45 minutes at 300~, or until top is evenly puffed and starts to crack.

Chill.

Serve with whipped cream and walnuts.

Can be frozen, and thawed before serving.
