6 hrsFive ingredients. No oven. No stress. Just a creamy, frozen pie that tastes like cookies and cream ice cream in a chocolate crust.
Vanilla pudding mixed with half and half gets folded together with whipped topping and crushed chocolate wafers, then poured into a baked chocolate pie shell and frozen until firm.
It’s the kind of dessert you can throw together in 10 minutes and stash in the freezer for whenever you need a sweet rescue.
Let it sit on the counter for about 10 minutes before slicing so it’s scoopable but still cold and creamy.
Kitchen Tips
- Use cold half and half straight from the fridge so the pudding sets properly
- Crush the chocolate wafers into uneven pieces for some chunky texture in every bite
- For a richer version, swap the half and half for heavy cream
