Apple Cream Cheese Pie
Ingredients
DirectionsMix together the apple slices, 1/4 cup of the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Arrange in the pastry shell. Sprinkle the nuts over the apples. Bake in a preheated 450 degree F oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn the heat down to 325 degrees F. Cream together the remaining sugar, salt and the cream cheese. Add the eggs and mix until smooth. Add to this the cream and vanilla and mix well. Pour over the apples in the pie shell and bake in the 325 degree F oven for 40 minutes. Rate this Recipe

We added one can of pineapple to the frosting that was between the two layers and it was out of this world. Needs to be bigger. Recommend making 3 layers or making a double sheet cake out of it. It will go fast! |
