Chicken & Stuffing Bake
Submitted by millerrdee
Just 5 ingredients and 40 minutes stand between you and this creamy chicken and stuffing bake. Boneless chicken breasts nestle beside herbed stuffing under a blanket of cream of mushroom sauce.

Five ingredients. Forty minutes. That’s all it takes to get golden stuffing, juicy chicken breasts, and a creamy mushroom sauce bubbling away in one dish.
It’s the kind of recipe you keep in your back pocket for those nights when the fridge is bare but you still need to feed the family something warm and satisfying.
Kitchen Tips
- Spoon the stuffing into the center of the dish right after mixing. Don’t let it stand or it gets too dense to crisp up on the edges.
- Overlap the chicken pieces slightly so they stay moist under the sauce during baking.
- Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes to let the top get golden and the sauce thicken up.
- Stir the sauce before serving to loosen any bits stuck to the bottom of the dish. That’s where all the flavor hides.

Directions
Preheat oven to 400-degrees F. Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions but do not let stand.
Spoon stuffing across center of 2-qt. shallow baking dish . Arrange 3 chicken pieces on each side of stuffing, overlapping if necessary.
Combine soup, milk and parsley. Pour over chicken. Cover with foil; bake 15 min.
Uncover; bake 10 min or until chicken is no longer pink.
Stir sauce before serving.

How can you say this is a low carb recipe? This makes me very suspicious of the nutrition info given for all recipes posted here.
The original poster of the recipe used non-specific measurements (eg. one box) so the "stuffing mix" was left out of the nutrition calculation. We have updated the amounts so the nutrition calculations is now much more accurate on this recipe.
