30 minWhy choose between chocolate and raisins when you can have both? These cookies pack serious flavor and texture variety in every bite.
The oat bran sneaks in extra fiber without anyone noticing, while old-fashioned oats give you that satisfying chew.
Butter makes all the difference here, creating cookies with rich flavor and edges that crisp up just right while the centers stay soft.
These are the kind of cookies that disappear from the cooling rack before they’re even completely cool.
Kitchen Tips
- Use fresh raisins that are still soft; if they’re dried out, soak in warm water for 10 minutes
- Don’t overbake; cookies should look slightly underdone in the center when you pull them
- Press a few extra chocolate chips and raisins on top before baking for a prettier finish
- Store in an airtight container with a slice of bread to keep them soft
