30 minHere’s a clever trick: baby food prunes replace most of the fat while keeping these cookies incredibly moist and chewy.
You get that classic cinnamon-spiced oatmeal cookie flavor without the guilt, and honestly, you’d never guess they’re made lighter.
The raisins add natural sweetness and chewy pockets throughout, while the oats give you that hearty, satisfying texture.
These bake up in under 10 minutes, making them perfect for when you need cookies fast but don’t want to sacrifice flavor.
Kitchen Tips
- Look for prune baby food in the baby food aisle (sometimes labeled as “prunes” or “prune paste")
- Don’t skip the cooking spray; these are lower in fat so they can stick
- Bake on the shorter time (8 minutes) for softer cookies
- These cookies are best eaten within 2 days as they dry out faster than butter-based cookies
