Nutty White Chunk Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour, all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar, light
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup pecans chpd
1 1/2 cups white chocolate 8 oz bar, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven 300F.

In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.

Mix well; set aside.

In large bowl, using mixer, blend sugars at medium speed.

Add butter; mix to form a grainy paste.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat on medium until light and fluffy.

Add flour mixture, pecans and white chocolate; blend on low until just combined, Do not overmix.

Drop by rounded Tbsps onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.

Bake 20-22 mins or until edges just begin to turn golden brown.

Do not overbake. Transfer to a cool flat surface to cool before removing from cookie sheets.

Patti's Jambalaya

I cut back a little on the Cayenne (others may want to double up). I also added 2 large garlic cloves, chopped fine. I used medium-sized frozen shrimp (yeah, I know, lol) but took the tails off and cut them in half for more bites to the spoonful! WOW!! 5 stars!
