25 minThese Jello sugar cookies are a blast from the past, and they deserve a serious comeback.
A package of gelatin mix folded into a buttery dough gives these drop cookies their personality. The flavor changes with whatever gelatin you choose, and the edges go just golden while the centers stay soft.
At 25 minutes start to finish, two dozen cookies are on the rack before anyone even notices you started baking.
Kitchen Tips
- Watch your first batch closely since oven times vary. Pull them when the edges are just beginning to brown.
- Let them cool on a wire rack rather than the hot pan so the bottoms don’t over-bake.
- Try different gelatin flavors for a rainbow of options at your next party spread.
