Ingredients

1 pound butter
2 pounds peanut butter
3 pounds powdered sugar
24 ounces chocolate chips
2/3 bar parafin wax

Directions

Cream together butter and peanut butter.

Add confectioners sugar slowly and mix thoroughly.

Roll mixture into little balls (no more than an inch a piece) and place a toothpick in the center.

Melt chocolate chips, then add melted wax.

Stir well until smooth.

This can be done using the microwave, or on the stove top.

In microwave, use glass dishes for best result, and melt wax slowly.

On stove top, use a heavy sauce pan and melt slowly so not to burn the chocolate *or* the wax.

Dip peanut butter balls into chocolate and swish around to make sure they are completely covered.

Let candy dry on a sheet of wax paper.

Store in refrigerator.

Aussie Meatloaf

This is an OUTSTANDING recipe! But a few tweaks to the recipe made it absolutely SUPERB. (And I never thought I'd say that about any other meatloaf recipe than Mom's.) Here's what I changed to the LOAF recipe: 1. Use half the amount of curry. 2. Add four diced celery stalks 3. Saute the onions to a golden brown before adding them to the loaf. 4. Use only half the amount of milk and water. 5. Add two roasted then diced red bell peppers. 6. Add two teaspoons of caraway seeds which have been toasted then gound to a fine powder. I guarantee you'll find yourself sleepwalking to the refrigerator in the middle of the night to sneak a few more bites! :-)
