No oven required. Just five ingredients, a big bowl, and a little patience while these chill in the fridge.

Popped popcorn, rolled oats, raisins, and dry roasted peanuts get tossed together and bound with warm honey that coats everything in sticky, golden sweetness.

Press the mixture firmly into a pan, chill for a couple of hours, and slice into sturdy bars that hold their shape and travel well.

Think of them as a homemade granola bar with a popcorn crunch.

Kitchen Tips

  • Press the mixture down firmly with the back of a greased spatula or your hands wrapped in plastic wrap. The tighter you pack them, the better they hold together.
  • Use plain popped popcorn with no butter or salt. Microwave popcorn will make these greasy.
  • Store in the fridge. At room temperature the honey softens and the bars lose their shape.
