Drop Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

4 cups flour, all-purpose
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cardamom seeds ground, or freshly grated nutmeg
1 1/2 cups butter unsalted, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 x colored sprinkles optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cardamom or nutmeg and set aside.

In a bowl beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, milk, and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture just until blended.

Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto 2 lightly greased baking sheets.

Flattenslightly with a fork. Decorate with sprinkles, if desired.

Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.

Cool on a wire rack. The cookies freeze in an airtight container.

Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

I would cut back on the yogurt. After following the recipe it tasted like yogurt-basil soup. Even after doubling the tomatoes, it's a very light pink and could use more tomato flavor.
