Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 each egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate (semi-sweet) semi-sweet chips

Directions

Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until well blended.

Combine cocoa and buttermilk (or water) in a separate bowl until smooth.

Add to creamed mixture.

Add flour, baking soda and salt, beating just until blended.

Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until centers are almost set.

Remove from cookie sheet while hot.

Massa Sovada (Portuguese Sweet Bread)

It's okay, but i prefer vanilla instead of the cinnamon. Angela, Stoney Creek
