Ingredients

| 2 | cloves | garlic | minced |
| 1 | cup | onion | sliced |
| 1 | cup | celery | peeled, sliced |
| 1 | cup | carrots | sliced |
| 1 | teaspoon | chili powder | |
| 1/4 | cup | green chili peppers, canned | diced |
| 2 | cups | mushrooms | sliced |
| 2 | cups | black beans | |
| 1/2 | cup | bean stock | |
| 2 | tablespoons | cilantro | chopped |
| 3 | cups | rice, brown | cooked |
Directions
In large deep saucepan heat olive oil, and saute garlic, onion,Add chiles and mushrooms and saute 5 minues more.
Stir in beans, bean stock and cilantro. Season totaste.
Cover and simmer over low heat about 10 minutes, stirring.
Serve over rice.
