Amount Ingredient Preparation
3 pounds stewing beef cubed
2 ounces red wine
1 can tomatoes with green chilies
1 tablespoon sugar
1 package green peas frozen
1 tablespoon salt
6 each carrots sliced
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 medium potatoes cubed
1 pinch thyme
3 medium onions coarsely chopped
1 pinch marjoram
1 cup celery chopped
1 pinch rosemary leaves
3 tablespoons tapioca instant

Directions

Put all ingredients in a deep casserole, cover tightly and bake
for 5 hours at 225 degrees F.

Not necessary to brown the beef first.
