Tony's Summer Pasta

Ingredients

16 ounces pasta, linguine
6 medium roma tomatoes chopped
1 pound mozzarella cheese grated
1/3 cup basil fresh, chopped
6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 x black pepper ground, to taste

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions.

Combine all ingredients except pasta and let sit at room temperature.

Tos s with hot cooked pasta.

It may be necessary to microwave tossed pasta for 2 t o 3 minutes so cheese will melt a little and ingredients will combine better.

Makes approximately six 2-cup servings.

Marla Gibbs' Carrot Cake

I got the original recipe from Celebrity Chefs when Marla Gibbs was a guest about 30 years ago. Your ingredients list doesn't correspond to the directions. It should say 1 1/2 tsp baking soda and not "salt". That much salt is way too much. Also, I cut the powdered sugar in the frosting in half because the amount called for is WAY TOO SWEET - and I added some fresh lemon juice and grated lemon peel. It makes for a much better cake which everyone raves about.
