Sometimes you just need noodles drenched in garlic butter, and there’s absolutely no shame in that.

Cook your noodles, toss them with melted butter seasoned with garlic powder and seasoned salt, then stir in shredded Monterey Jack cheese until it melts into stretchy, gooey strands.

Ten minutes, start to finish. Five ingredients total.

It’s the side dish that goes with everything, or honestly, stands on its own when you’re eating dinner on the couch.

Variations

  • Use fresh minced garlic sauteed in the butter for a more robust garlic punch
  • Add a handful of fresh parsley or chives for color and brightness
  • Swap Monterey Jack for Parmesan or mozzarella depending on what’s in the fridge
