Deutsches Beefsteak
Ingredients
DirectionsIn a small bowl soak roll in water. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan; cook chopped onion until lightly browned. Transfer onion to a bowl. Squeeze roll as dry as possible and mix roll with onion. Add ground beef; blend well. Season with salt and pepper. Shape meat in 4 patties; cook about 5 minutes on each side or to desired. Remove and keep warm. Add sliced onions to pan drippings; cook until lightly browned. Arrange beefsteaks on a platter and top with onion rings. Member ReviewJello Pudding Fudge I am not sure what I did wrong. The mixture began to get thick, like pudding, before it ever came to a boil. Therefore, I could not follow the directions and allow it to boil for one minute. The result was like hot fudge topping for ice cream. I would like to know what I did wrong. The flavor was outstanding. It did not go to waste. I ran out and got some ice cream. But I would like to have fudge with the same incredible taste. vphillips |
