California Tamale PieEasy to make, but not as great as we hoped. 2 out of 5 in my family wouldn't eat it. I thought it was pretty good with salsa dumped over it but probably wouldn't make it again.
Ingredients
DirectionsIn medium skillet, brown ground beef; drain. In medium bowl, combine milk, 1 cup cornmeal and eggs; blend well. Add ground beef and remaining ingredients except cheese and 2 tablespoons cornmeal; stir to mix. Pour into 12x8 inch, lightly greased baking dish. Bake in 350F oven 35-40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and 2 tablespoons cornmeal; continue baking until cheese melts. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Reviews

I am going to use leftovers over noodles. However, I needed to use more cornstarch than the recipe called for to make the gravy thick enough |
