Crockpot Swiss Steak No. 3

Give the barbecue a rest and use the crockpot to create this savory dish that is perfect for the summer.

Ingredients

2 pounds beef, round steak cut in pieces
3 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 each tomatoes 16 oz can, chopped
1 each onion chopped fine
2 each celery stalks chopped fine
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
2 each beef bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 each bay leaf
1 x salt
1 x black pepper

Directions

Season meat with salt and pepper. Dredge meat in flour. Heat oil in large skillet. Brown meat in batches so as not to crowd in pan. Add to crockpot with remaining ingredients. Cover pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with boiled, herbed potatoes.
