The name says it all: no peeking. Put the lid on, walk away, and let the crockpot work its magic.

Stewing beef, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, a splash of dry red wine, and whole mushrooms all go into the pot together. That’s it. No browning, no layering, no babysitting.
