35 minListen, there’s no polite way to eat this stuff. You grab a handful, powdered sugar gets everywhere, and before you know it half the bag is gone.
Golden Grahams cereal, pecans, and golden raisins get drenched in a melted mix of milk chocolate, peanut butter, and margarine, then shaken up in a bag with a whole pound of powdered sugar until every piece is coated in a sweet, snowy dust.
It’s the ultimate no-bake party snack, and it makes a massive batch that’s perfect for filling tins and gifting during the holidays.
Fair warning: you will need to hide some for yourself.
Pro Tips
- Melt the chocolate and peanut butter mixture over low heat and stir constantly. If it boils, the chocolate can seize up and turn grainy.
- Pour the chocolate sauce over the cereal mix in thirds. This way every piece gets evenly coated instead of the bottom layer getting all the good stuff.
- Use a big paper grocery bag for shaking with powdered sugar. It sounds old-fashioned, but it works better than any bowl.
- Store in an airtight container. The powdered sugar absorbs moisture quickly and gets sticky if left uncovered.
