Two-ingredient spicy Italian dressing made by mixing picante sauce with Italian dressing. Use it on salads, as a veggie marinade, or tossed with shrimp. Ready in 10 minutes, makes ¾ cup.

Two ingredients. Ten minutes. A dressing that does triple duty.

Just stir together Pace picante sauce and bottled Italian dressing, and you’ve got a zesty, spicy vinaigrette that works on just about everything.

Drizzle it over a green salad, use it as a marinade for fresh vegetables or bean salads, or toss it with cooked shrimp for an instant appetizer.

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the ones you reach for most.

Variations

  • Use mild picante sauce for a gentler kick, or go with hot for serious heat.
  • Try it as a quick pasta salad dressing tossed with rotini, bell peppers, and olives.
  • Swap in a creamy Italian dressing for a richer, creamier version.
