30 minThis is what weeknight stir-fry looks like when you want something a step above the usual.
Sirloin strips get a hard sear, then share the skillet with zucchini, yellow summer squash, mushrooms, red bell peppers, and green onions.
Everything stays crisp-tender and bright, and it all gets folded into a nutty long grain and wild rice mix.
It’s balanced, it’s colorful, and it clocks in at 30 minutes start to finish.
Chef Tips
- Cut the sirloin into even strips and sear in batches. Overcrowding the pan steams the beef instead of browning it.
- Prep all your vegetables before you start cooking. Once the oil is hot, this moves fast.
- Keep the veggies crisp-tender. Nobody wants soggy zucchini.
- Swap in brown rice or quinoa if you can’t find a wild rice mix.
