Pasta with Chicken and Brocoli

Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 pound chicken breasts boneless, cut in 1/2 inch strips
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1/2 pound pasta, bow-tie or small lasagna noodles, cooked
2 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 cups broccoli florets
1 teaspoon basil dried
1/4 cup white wine
3/4 cup chicken broth
Optional
1 x parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated

Directions

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

Saute garlic for about one minute, stirring constantly.

DO NOT BURN. Add the chicken and cook until well done.

Add the broccoli and cook until crisp but tender.

Add basil; red pepper;salt and pepper to taste; wine and chicken broth.

Cook for about 5 minutes. Add the cooked and drained pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.

Heat for 1 to 2 min.

Serve.

Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
