10 minGot leftover roast beef and ten minutes? You’re about to turn that into the easiest barbecued beef sandwiches of your life.
This microwave-only recipe layers thinly sliced beef in a quick homemade sauce built on ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire, and a hit of lemon juice. It comes together so fast you’ll wonder why you ever reached for the canned stuff.
The sauce gets bubbly and sticky, coating every slice before it all gets piled onto soft buns.
Kitchen Tips
- This is a brilliant way to use leftover roast beef, pot roast, or even deli-sliced beef in a pinch.
- Want more kick? Add a few dashes of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne to the sauce.
- Toast the buns lightly before assembling if you like a bit of crunch against the saucy beef.
