Mimi's Bread Pudding

Ingredients

1/2 loaf bread, french long
12 ounces evaporated milk
12 ounces water
3 large eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 ounce vanilla extract
1/2 cup raisins, seedless flour-dusted
2 each bananas
Whiskey sauce
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 jigger whiskey or rum

Directions

Soak the bread in the evaporated milk and water for about a half hour.

Add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, raisins, and bananas.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min to an hour.

Serve hot or cold with Whiskey Sauce.
