Holiday Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter softened, 2 sticks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup nuts coarsely chopped, optional
12 ounces chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
3/4 cup sugar granulated

Directions

Mix flour,baking soda and salt; set aside.

Beat butter,sugars,vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.

Blend in flour mixture.Stir in nuts and chips.

Drop by teaspoon, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Basic White Sauce W/Variations

This recipe came in real handy for a parmesan chicken dish we made. We took the basic white sauce and add parmesan cheese to it, then pour the sauce over parmesan chicken with noodles. It was the best meal, plus our whole family enjoyed it. Thank-you. Fawn
