Close your eyes, take a sip, and let this one carry you straight to a hammock on a white sand beach.

The Bahama Breeze layers dark rum and coconut rum with banana and apricot liqueurs, then brightens everything up with pineapple, orange, and lemon juices.

A touch of grenadine adds that sunset-pink blush, while a drizzle of honey rounds out the edges so nothing hits too sharp.

Blend it all with ice, pour into a tall glass, and garnish with whatever tropical fruit you’ve got on hand.

Chef Tips

  • Use fresh-squeezed citrus if you can. The difference between bottled and fresh juice in a cocktail this simple is night and day.
  • Chill your glass beforehand for an extra-frosty pour.
  • Scale the recipe up easily for a pitcher when you’re hosting. Just multiply and blend in batches.
