A bit about me:
I cook for many reasons. Number one, I love it! Also it is my hobby and a great stress release after running a very busy business. I love all the compliments I receive after mastering a recipe.
Some of my favorite things I like to cook
I love to bake most of all. I actually am teaching myself the basics of a pastry chef. I like all kinds of deserts, especially pie and cheesecake. I thought creme brulee was fun and fancy. Have just mastered really nice dinner rolls and am starting to learn about sourdough bread, etc. So many things to bake and learn - so little time!
My cooking success stories
I think personally for me my biggest success and accomplishment was the basic dinner roll! I tried and tried to make them to no avail. Finally after studying a professional cookbook I tried once again and they turned out perfect. I was very happy and was wondering if it could happen again and sure enough it did! I've made them quite a few times and all with great success!
