A bit about me:
Love to use good ingredients to make delicious family meals. I cook most meals from scratch because I like to know where my food's coming from. Have a weekly delivery of organic vegetables and buy meat from my local butcher or from a local organic farmer. I cook on an Aga - which I love!! My favourite cooking experiences are when people tell me how nice something is. I feel my children eat very well and very healthily. They are certainly glowing!!
Some of my favorite things I like to cook
I make bread every day. I make soup a lot and make comforting casseroles. I don't make puddings often but use the fruit from the garden when it's in season to make apple crumble or plum pie, etc.
My cooking success stories
I prepared a pre-ball dinner for my daughter and seven of her teenage friends in December and every one of them wrote to say how delicious the meals was, although it really was fairly traditional. I think the kids just enjoy good food, nicely prepared, served in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
