BBQ Meatballs 1 12oz can evaporated milk 3lbs ground beef 1 cup oatmeal 1 cup bread crumbs 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 teas. garlic powder 2 teas. salt 1/2 teas. pepper 2 teas. chili powder Combine ingredients for meatballs and shape into walnut sized balls. Place meatballs in single layer on cookie sheet and freeze until solid. Remove and place in ziploc bag. To bake frozen meatballs, place in pan and pour sauce over, bake 350 degrees.
Sauce 2 cups ketchup 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 teas. liquid smoke 1/2 teas. garlic powder 1/4 cup chopped onion If I am baking all of the meatballs I double the sauce recipe. Should make 75 meatballs I make a batch to have on hand and just take out as many as needed. This is an excellent recipe. So easy to prepare ahead. You can also make batches of the sauce and freeze too!!
