This recipe index has a huge selection of recipes for whole grain and bean dishes, which you can omit the fat (if any) from and freeze ahead for fast meals. All whole grains are very healthy (wheat berries, barley, brown rice, quinoa, millet, etc) and quite cheap and easy to make. I make a large batch and add them to pasta sauce, casseroles, pilafs, salads, soups all week. Also dried beans can be made easily and frozen in portions so you can whip a dinner together pretty fast with no fat, salt or sugar and lots of veggies and whole grains. I felt the same way about the feathers too, but you will feel great and lose weight so it is definitely the way to go! Just go to the ingredient search and type in one of the above grains and a whole list of recipes will come up. Also, any grain, veggie or bean can be substituted for another so you don't have to put in something if you don't like it, choose one you do like instead!
